I leave for 2 days and my apartment smells terrible, there’s things in disarray, and there’s a layer of filth everywhere. I cleaned friday.

http://twitpic.com/10qw3d @arynna is getting her work done.
Never underestimate the power of the promise of cake. Unrelated note: I’ve been on this couch for about 17 hours. It’s been a slow snow day.
http://twitpic.com/10li53 Snowed in dinner with available ingredients at W&M.
W&M kids bringing out their scotch because the library is closed due to snow. In all fairness, we’re also making brownies for pseudo-lunch.
1940s party at W&M is a good excuse to get dressed up and drink gin.
“Role playing!”
My first major adventure at William & Mary. (In all fairness, this is the pre event to the 1940s party later. Oh, my friends.
First remark about my William & Mary adventure? Holy crap, huge library. Books… so many books, some even fighting each other for space.
When the hell did I become a scientist? I described a series of concepts to an underclassman in my Geo 355 class with scary scientific logic
Just finished the Hospital/Cowan/Central Park “Uphill Both Ways” run, and ow. The wind was not helpful when pushing uphill for 20 minutes.
How is it that after a week of looking at this data I’ve only just now realized the implications? I feel stupid and brilliant all at once.
“A cheerful message is on its way to you.” My #fortunecookie s are usually prophetic, but never before within a matter of minutes.

Oh Bro You Didn't →
Oh Bro You Didn’t… take (and presumably use) my deodorant right out of my bathroom supplies. It’s still missing.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I have another tumblr account dedicated to all the WTF moments I have living with my roommates, called “Oh Bro You Didn’t.” Photos accompanied by my remarks are posted every three or so days, in case you were...
What kind of world do we live in when no one around you wants to help make cupcakes? Blue velvet (yes, blue) cupcakes even.
I reached the tipping point in how much filth I could stand and went on a cleaning spree. So many sticky things, so much fodder for OBYD.
Waitaminute… how did I manage to finish/not have any work in my three classes tomorrow? I guess I’ll read ahead? This is so foreign to me.
See @AnnPotski mock my enthusiasm for mushroom risotto. http://tiny12.tv/XQTS3
http://twitpic.com/zxu5h Playing Sardines in Lee Hall. Torn between wanting to be found and not. This basement alcove is getting creepy.

Seriously people? If you’re working in a journalism or public affairs position, don’t use “alot” for “a lot” or “there” for “their.” Ugh.
http://twitpic.com/zv1pl Rafferty was talking about Grandma’s Thanksgiving Crab Casserole in class. Lo and behold, served at seaco today…
I think I scared my roommates last time I told them to clean after they cook with my stuff. They’re cleaning it now! Be still my heart.
“Something unusual will happen at work or school next week.” Yeah, #fortunecookie, when DOESN’T that happen? This is me we’re talking about.
Haircut time. Walked over because it’s so nice, and amused myself by noticing my increasingly intense music matched the building winds.
I want to write a thank you note to the cleaning staff that keeps clearing all the damn sand off my apartment doormat when they clean halls.
Got to show my notepad who's boss. →
I spent about three minutes blowing on hot wax in my candle just to see it cool and turn opaque (it was worth it). I feel like I had to do something inane after doing actual work for the last four or…

I should probably stop buying scrapbooking paper at some point. I have a stack about an inch thick now. I actually use it, but still… wow.
Creature movies, The Fifth Element, and ham. This is truly a great night.
http://twitpic.com/zfg5q Huge apartment fire on my way up to northern virginia. Yes, I was stopped when I took this picture.
Oh, Late Night mistakes. You are always mistakes. Onion rings, however tempting, lead only to grease and regret after consumption.
There's a certain irony in today's volunteer work. →
I haven’t done nearly as much volunteer work as I’d like since I became an Eagle Scout (and very shortly afterward turned 18 and went to college). So today when PRISM was helping out the…
For our MLK service challenge, PRISM is cleaning out a closet for FAHAAS. Oh, how fitting. And a lot of acronyms.
Cyrano de Bergerac →
Tumblr keeps eating my video post, so I’m just posting the link now.
Pure wordporn (3:15 and on). Now that I’m older, all of the poetry from Cyrano de Bergerac is just so powerful. Where is my warrior poet?
http://twitpic.com/z4thl My climate reading is SO DENSE. I mean, I pretty much understand it, but it’s just so freaking hard to read.
Collecting pictures and captions for my upcoming blog, “Oh Bro You Didn’t,” and in the span of 5 minutes got 7 pictures. This will be great.
Amber the Seaco Lady just cranked Lady Gaga up to 11. Favorite Seaco Lady ever.
Considering starting a new twitter/blog called “Oh Bro You Didn’t,” addressing all the stupid things I’ve personally experienced this year.
Mary Wash needs a missed connections section. Me: Shirt with a clock on it, two rows back. You: Blue check shirt and a hipster chest tattoo.
I think I’m eating these mini rice cakes with a bit too much enthusiam. I don’t know how I can be so boring and so weird at the same time.
This is an example of the hybrid of adorable at first glance, cruel if you think about it too long kind of thing that I find devastatingly amusing (for both the adorable and cruel reasons).
The universe is hitting me with so many ironic things right now that I don’t know whether to laugh or yell. Probably laugh.
Usually when I end up being busy for 12 hours at a time, I know about it ahead of time. Not today. Classes, clubs, Kwanza, and more clubs.
